EASY CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES

1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semisweet chocolate
pieces
Prepare chocolate cake mix according to package
directions. Spoon batter into paper lined 2 1/2 inch
muffin pan cups, filling 1/2 full. Combine cream
cheese, sugar and egg in bowl. Beat with electric
mixer at high speed 2 minutes or until smooth and
creamy. Stir in chocolate pieces. Drop cream cheese
mixture by teaspoonfuls into each muffin pan cup.
Bake in 350 degree oven 20 minutes or until cupcakes
test done. Remove from pan. Cool on racks. Makes 30
cupcakes. They freeze well.
