Baked Sugar Cured Ham
- 15 pound Ham (sugar cured and
smoked)
- 2 pints Honey
- 1/2 pound Brown sugar
- 1 tsp. Cloves (ground)
Place ham in stock pot, cover with
water, bring to a boil, simmer 1 hour.
Remove from pot; remove outer rind;
trim excess fat.
Score with knife.
Place ham in roasting pan and cover
with honey.
Mix sugar and cloves together;
sprinkle over ham.
Add water to bottom of pan (approx.
1/4 inch) and bake at 350 degrees F.
until golden brown.
Serve with fruit sauce or favorite
ham sauce.
